Building a walnut processing factory in Romania to increase nut quality and marketability

This company fills in a value chain gap and allows for trade of walnuts which were previously not marketable, while providing farmers with another income stream. We initiated a nut processing factory in collaboration with local Romanians which adds value by processing the nuts for international sale at a higher value than they could be sold locally.

The nuts are mechanically processed and packaged, with uniform handling which greatly increases the quality and allows for those in the area to collect and sell walnuts to the factory and the nuts to be sold profitably.
