‘Business in a box’ development – Kenya
We’re currently setting up a 850m2 urban aquaponics in Nairobi, Kenya in cooperation with Wageningen University, Tinder ltd and Upande. For this project we’re looking for students that would like to learn about aquaponics while performing a market research to identify the market potential. This specific internship/research will be on the development of a business model for aquaponics. The goal will be to set up an entity that can sell aquaponics systems, knowledge and trainings to interested entrepreneurs in Eastern-Africa.
We are looking for students with a background and/or experience in business. Students with a background in agriculture or with research experience in Africa are also welcome.
Skills Required Good Communications skills, hardworking, understand how to correctly collect qualitative and quantitative data, analyzing the data to make a summary of how the company should move forward.
Location and duration The internship time is flexible, but at least 3 months between January 2018 and May 2018. You will have a short preparation time at our office in Wageningen.
